Well I woke up this morning with a headache and thought to myself “what a great start to the day”. Well it was the start of a great day. I thought I’d test the side of my sore hip/groin, I only did a soft mae geri and it didn’t hurt!! Stress levels went down and a big grin on my face appeared. It still has a little pain, so I’m not trying anymore, not until say a week from now. I’ll still goto karate Monday and Thursday but take it easy. Ahh so happy right now. I’ll be happier when Lynette comes home and I tell her!

Those days….

Well it’s been awhile since i posted last, a lot been going on.

For starters my hip has been playing up and all I want to do is rip it off and get a good one that doesnt hurt. So far this means that my Karate grading at the end of the year looks to be a painful one. I currently am taking some joint supplements and icing it and trying not to kick or anything so that it doesn’t get worse. It’s pretty damn depressing. Lynettes helping me alot with it. She might not know this but just her smile and everything she does helps.

On the other side of things I’ve changed my choice on what im going to do at University. Firstly I was going to do B/Information Tech – Software Development. Bur now since I did a business assignment on what other subjects and careers I can do, I have come to the conclusion of doing B/Business – Finance/ International Business and try and get a job in International Trading or Work somewhere high up in a Bank. Which Bank?? Have no clue…

Time to Start Getting My Finger out….

Well I must start this post by saying this….

“Hello I’m Addy and I’m a Karateholic…..”

Yes one of the things that I do for a Hobbie/Life is Karate. I do Goju Kai Karate – Do and I’m really, proud of it.

So now to the point..

As I write this (05/08/2007) from today I have 131 days to “get my finger out” and start getting some power and extra fitness before the end of year grading. So far for the last seven months I have been focusing more on getting the pattern’s right and the feel for some of the techniques that we have been shown and expected to know. I know where my strengths lie and I know where I have to work to improve my weaknesses. But for the record I am a little scared because it is a big turning point for me.

So what am I going to do about it?

Well for starters, Im going to pick the pace up a little each week, then in the last six weeks before the set date, im going to push myself like I haven’t before. I’m thinking getting my self back into lifting weights again and also running for some cardio. The main thing is that I stay motivated, even if I ends up I only do half what I say, If I do a little each day, it will all help in the end.

But in the mean time I’ll keep you poasted.

iMac perhaps?

Well Lately I’ve been thinking about getting some sort of Apple Machine. Looking through the Apple store online (Australia of course!), I’ve come across the idea of getting an Imac. Also I’ve found out that I can get it cheaper because of going to uni. For all of you that knew about this already, please accept my slowness, because this is the first time I’ve even looked at the site. So I don’t know when i’ll get my greasy little mittens on one of those puppy’s, but the plan is to try and get one next year, about June/July, that way The new OSX might be out (because Australia always seems to be behind) but who knows I might even change my mind.

Ahhh the Tokidoki craze. I think there pretty damn cool things. Lynette has 2 Cactus Loves, one which i bought her in Queensland and another that her cousin sent for her birthday this year. She has also bought two t-shirts which are sweet. Ahh well thats all i have today…

The new camera..

Well the other day Lynette and I bought a new camera. Its a Fujifilm Finepix s6500 and personally for its price, I’m happy with the results. I only have a 16mb xD card that came with it so I was using 3mp instead of 6mp so i could get more shots done.

Things to get for it are as follows:

1. At least a 1GB xD card but I’d prefer a 2GB xD.

2. The wide conversion lens.

3. A case so I don’t scratch the damn thing.

First Post!!!!

Over the past year i have started many blogs all to do with Karate, about the training I do and the events that are coming up with it e.g Black Belt Grading coming up. Well now I thought that I would not only write about Karate but the other things in my life. The new and the old hobbies, more about Lynette and Marla, Travelling, Bodyboarding and Karate.
